I had a lot on my mind (don't we all?). The day was gray, which is usually to my suiting, but it just wasn't comforting. In the morning, I worked on a special project and organized while B watched tv, pushed empty boxes around the house (this is more fun than it sounds), invented games with his Uno cards and cut paper into tiny little pieces, as he likes to do these days : )
Later in the day, the sun decided to peek through, then the clouds completely cleared, and I was actually happy to see a beautiful, perfectly lit afternoon. My soul needed it, seriously. Bev called, and we decided we both needed to get out and just DO something. So at 3 in the afternoon, she decided to make the hour drive to my house, even though we only had a little time to spend together and no certain plan.
We decided to take a walk at the new greenway that was just completed in KM. B jumped and skipped and carried on quite happily, and Bev and I talked, really talked, in the rambling, confiding, talk your ears off kind of way that feels so comfortable to us. It was wonderful.

As the sun was setting, we made a quick visit to the coffee shop downtown, where we played B's version of chess, and then headed home so Bev could get back to her family. It was a perfect way to close the day. Thanks Bev.************************

Thinking about you this morning and remembering some things our Pastor, Mike talked about recently. In Psalm 23, one of the words in verse 4 is very important. That word is "through". Valleys in life will come, but they are temporary. The sun will rise again tomorrow. Sam and I love you very much!
Something that always makes me laugh is cakewrecks.com. Anyways, I tried to call, let me know if you need anything! Love the pictures!
